Welcome to the ISOCB website

The International Society for Ocular Cell Biology, ISOCB, is a representative body for cell biologists working in all aspects of ocular health and disease as well as those using ocular cells as model systems. The society provides a vehicle for the exchange of ideas and oversees the organisation of a biennial international conference. ISOCB aims to meet a real need in the research community and encourage better integration between cell biologists working in eye research.

Asia ARVO 2009

Organized by the Indian Eye Research Group, Asia ARVO will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Center, Hyderabad, from January 15–18, 2009. World Ophthalmology Congress 2008

The deadline for early bird registration for the World Ophthalmology Congress 2008, held in Hong King, is fast approaching. If you wish to register at preferential rates you should visit their website before 31 Janaury; advanced regsitration closes on 31 May.

ISOCB 2008 Registration

Priority registration for ISOCB members will commence on 17 March and general registration will open on 31 March. The switch is necessary in order to allow us to set up accounting facilities that can handle registration fees in USD. Room reservations will also be available from these dates and abstract submission will open on 31 March.

Don't forget to renew your ISOCB membership to enjoy reduced registration fees and priority booking for the 2008 meeting in San Diego.

After a lengthy period of downtime, during which we were moving the ISOCB bank account and establishing secure online payment facilities for membership and meeting registrations, we are pleased to announce that the membership renewal pages are once again active, and that registration for ISOCB 2008 will soon follow on the meetings page.
